SUMTHING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT

Impeccably bred IMAMAORIJET has kept the Australian momentum of French stallion QUAKER JET going.

The three-year-old filly broke through for her first win in a maiden trot against her own age at Kilmore on Tuesday, September 22.

Imamaorijet found the deathseat mid-race and put the race in her keeping over the last 400m.

Although this was the first time she has tasted success, Imamaorijet had been placed in group 1 company.

She finished third to another daughter of Quaker Jet and stablemate Im Ready Jet in the Need For Speed Princess Final at Melton in February.

Imamaorijet is the fourth winner out of Sumthingaboutmaori, which won the 2004 Inter Dominion Trotting Championship.

She was bred by and is raced by Yabby Dam Farms.

Quaker Jet has now had three individual winners in September, with Dizzsjet and Quake Proof have also saluted.

This gives him 10 winners for the season.

His oldest Australian foals are three years-old, with nine of the 15 to race being winners.
