French-bred stallion Used To Me is having a career-best season as a sire.

Standing in Queensland this breeding season, Used To Me has had 19 individual winners and for first time his progeny have topped 50 wins in Australia in a season, still with more than three months to go.

Queensland mare Izarri and New South Wales emerging talent Familiar Tricks took his offspring’s 2025 victories to 51 in the past week - highlighting his influence across Australia.

Familiar Tricks stretch his winning run to four in the Carousel Trotters Final at Menangle on Saturday night (September 20).

Used To Me has a career winning strike rate of 73% to starters.

TIMOKO Fra, one of numerous overseas-based world class stallions introduced to Australasian breeders by YDF/HDT, landed his second Australian-bred winner at Melton on Friday night (September 19).

Yabby Dam Farms-bred 3yo filly Moreep scored at her third start.

Timoko has had just three Australian-bred starters for two winners.

In keeping this theme, Bold Eagle Fra had a winner and Village Mystic Fra, Dreamcatcher Swe and The Best Madrik Fra had placegetters across Australia and NZ in the past week.

Bold Eagle’s win came in the form of Australian-trained Kyvalley Ray NZ in a NZ Sires Stakes 2yo trotters prelude at Addington on September 19.

The colt is now a three-time winner.
