French trotting sire Orlando Vici has a rare place in Australian breeding.

He’s most notably the sire of the legendary Just Believe, but it’s much more than that.

From relatively rare opportunities at stud in Australia, Orlando Vici has a 100 per cent winning strike rate - 28 winners from 28 Australian-bred starters.

Flying his flag right now is lightly raced 5yo mare Lady Vici.

She won her eighth race in a row at Melton on Saturday night (September 13).

Lady Vici is only in her second season of racing and even in that time she had more than a year off the scene.
