QUAKER JET PROGENY IS HOT TO TROT

French-bred Quaker Jet is one of the hottest trotting stallions in Australia at the moment.

The son of the great Love You Fra has had two group 1 winners in the past month.

And he also now has a daughter on track to have a big say in a group 2 in Harness Racing Victoria's Summer of Glory Carnival.

Fancy rounded out 2021 for Quaker Jet by saluting in the group 1 Vicbred Super Series 3yo trotting fillies final at Melton on New Year's Eve.

Fancy was one of 12 individual Australian-bred winners for Quaker Jet - his oldest crop was four years-old - for the season from 20 starters.

They won a total of 42 races.

Then the highly credentialled five-year-old mare Im Ready Jet landed Australia's first group 1 of 2022, the Maori Mile at Bendigo.

The two-year-old and three-year-old classic winning mare now has four group 1s to her name and is Quaker Jet's biggest earning Australian-bred foal.

Now another of his daughters is starting to make her mark.

La Serena has taken out the first two heats of the Vicbred Platinum Trotting Mares Sprint Championship and is on her way to the group 2 final at Melton on February 4.

in her second heat victory she led home a Quaker Jet quinella with Electrojet running second.

With all this happening for Quaker Jet, what better time to look at acquiring one of his foals.

Yabby Dam Farms is offering three lots by Quaker Jet at the Nutrien Equine Yearling Sale at Oaklands Junction on Sunday, April 3.
