Nad Al Sheba Ita and Dimitri Ferm Fra available to Australian breerders

A highly decorated Italian father and son have joined the Yabby Dam Farms/Haras des Trotteurs trotting stallion roster for 2025-26.

Nad Al Sheba Ita and Dimitri Ferm Fra will be available to Southern Hemisphere breeders for the first time as frozen semen options.

They offer one of the world’s most influential trotting bloodlines - the same line as Walner US and Chapter Seven US.

Nad Al Sheba Ita is by Windsong's Legacy US (Conway Hall US), which in 2004 became first US Triple Crown winner since Super Bowl 32 years earlier.

Nad Al Sheba is regarded as on of Europe’s most exciting stallions, firmly established as the leading trotting stallion in Italy.

He topped Italy’s 3yo sire statistics in 2021 and 2022, with his most notable progeny to date being four-time group 1 and Italian Derby winner Dimitri Ferm, group 1 winner Capital Mail (Gran Premio Lotteria winner), Urgano Trebi (Gran Premo Citta di Montecatini winner), Victor Ferm (6 wins and group placed) and Velvet Gio (mile record holder in Malta).

Dimitri Ferm continues to race in France, where he has established himself among the cream of Europe’s best trotters. A last-start third placegetter this month, Dimitri Ferm contested the prestigious Group 1 Prix D’Amerique earlier this year after three times running second to Jushua Tree in group 1 and 2 company.
