LOVE YOU STRIKES AGAIN

LOVE YOU has produced his ninth winner of the season on Australian soil.

LOCKSLEY LOVER added to the French sire’s tally at Yarra Valley on Wednesday, April 21.

The three-year-old gelding was having just his second race start and first since mid-December.

Locksley Lover was bred by David Scott and is raced by John Nissen.

All Love You’s Australian winners in 2020 have been three-year-olds – Queen Elida, Central Otago, Sweet On You and Affaire de Cover (all 2 wins), and Morsure Damour, Parisian Artiste, Illawong Moonbeam, Celebration Stride and now Locksley Lover (all 1 win).

These put him comfortably at the top of the Australian three-year-old sires premiership.

On the other side of Tasman, three-year-old filly SALVO became Love You’s latest winner at Addington on Friday, April 16.

This gives her two successes in her first season of racing.

LOVE You’s full brother REPEAT LOVE has also been among the winners as a sire in New Zealand
