That was the message QUAKER JET filly IM READY JET sounded in winning the SCOTCH NOTCH 3YO TROT, 1609m, at Bendigo on Friday, December 4.
Driven patiently by Jason Lee in a small field, Im Ready Jet was save for a last run and stormed home in the last 400m, to rate 1:56.
Having completed back-to-back group 1 Breeders Crown titles, Im Ready Jet is being prepared by trainers Anton Golino and Jack MacKinnon for the Vicbred Super Series, which culminates on New Year’s Eve at Melton.
Her record now stands at nine wins in 17 starts for $160,000 in earnings.
The Bendigo win took her season stakes past $100,000.
Three yearlings by HARAS DES TROTTEURS roster stallion Quaker Jet will be offered by Yabby Dam Farms at the inaugural Nutrien Equine yearling sale at Oaklands Junction on April 8-11.
