How fitting was it to see QUEEN ELIDA NZ peak to take out an INTER DOMINION TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP heat at Albion Park on Saturday, December 9.
It came just days after the retirement of her sire LOVE YOU Fra from stud duties was announced.
Queen Elida followed seconds in her first two heats to qualify for the $250,000 final to be run on Saturday, December 16.
It has also been a massive week for ORLANDO VICI Fra.
JUST BELIEVE has led the way going through the series unbeaten with three heats win and is on target to win his second title in a row.
He led home a trifecta for Orlando Vici in a third round heat, with OLLIVICI NZ second and ADELLE NZ third.
They also line up in the final.
It was Ollivici’s first defeat in the series after winning his first two heats.
