French stallion Love You siring a winning double.

Big night for Haras des Trotteurs at Addington on Thursday night with French stallion Love You siring a winning double.

Two-year-old squaregaiter Summer Lovin and Matua Tana each scored for Woodend Beach trainers Greg  and Nina Hope.

Having just his second race start, Summer Lovin settled third from gate five from behind mobile to face the breeze before working to the lead with 1000m to run.

The gelding raced away by 10 lengths to rate 2:2.1 in the IRT ‘Your Horse Our Passion’ Trot, 1980m.

Summer Lovin is the first foal out of Angus Hall mare It’s Summertime, which has a Love You yearling filly.

Matua Tana’s win off 20m in the IRT ‘Proudly Supporting Addington Handicap, 2600m, gives the six-year-old a hat-trick of successes.

He now has six career victories from 18 starts.
