The Classic Connection story keeps getting better.
Two-year-old Hammer gave the Australian-based Classic Connection Fra his fourth winner from as many starters from his first crop at Ballarat on August 21.
He led and ran his his last 800m in 58.1sed and last 400m in 28.5.
YDF/HDY principle Pat Driscoll said he was rapt with the way Classic Connection’s first Australian-bred progeny had launched their racing careers.
He said he was looking forward to what the rest of the season had in store for Classic Connection offspring.
The only Australian-bred winning offspring of French sire Brillantissime, 3yo Charleston Avenue, had his second win in Ballarat on August 21.
French sire Eridan will have his first Australian-bred starter at Bendigo on Wednesday, August 27.
2yo French Missile is out of Class Of Her Own and was bred by YDF.
