Always Ready first crop hits the Sales Ring

Always Ready -  an elite Australian-bred son of the great Ready Cash Fra - has two foals from his first crop going to the Melbourne Nutrien Equine Yearling Sale on April 13-14.

Ready Cash not only left his mark on the race track as a champion in France, he became a sire of sires.

Always Ready now provides a rare opportunity for Australian buyers to secure the progeny of one of Ready Cash’s sons.

Always Ready was an outstanding juvenile, winning the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series 2yo colts/geldings and being crowned the Australian 2yo trotting colt/gelding of the year.

He went on to win the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series 4yo entires/geldings in a career that produced 16 wins and $306,000 in earnings.

Lot 225  - Always Ready-Fille Dun Soir Fra (Texas Charm Fra) colt

This colt offers the best of some outstanding French bloodlines, being by a son of Ready Cash and having a Cocktail Jet (sire of champion sire Love You Fra) cross on his maternal side.

He is out of the first crop of Always Ready, a winner of 16 races, including the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series 2yo and 4yo finals.

  • Fille Dun Soir’s fourth dam Guilty Of Love is the dam of Love You and 10 other winners.

Lot 242 - Always Ready-Heavenly Sister (Majestic Son Ca) colt

The colt is from the first crop of Always Ready- a son of champion sire Ready Cash Fra and a winner of 16 races, including the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series 2yo and 4yo finals.

Heavenly Sister (11 wins) was a multiple Group 3 winner and the dam of winner Keep Believing.

  • Heavenly Sister is out of Heavens Above US - the dam of two-time Inter Dominion champion Just Believe.

  • Heavens Above has also produced Shared Interest (18 wins) and Namoscar (10 wins).
