New Zealand-bred mare ADELLE has returned to racing on a winning note.

The daughter of ORLANDO VICI dominated her rivals to run away by 20m in rating 1:57.6 in the MOUNTAIN GOAT TROT, 2300m, at Menangle on August 4.

Adelle had not raced since the start of May and with this takes her career standings to seven wins in 21 starts for $50,000 in earnings.

The 4yo began her career in NZ and won her first three Australian starts on joining the stable of the late Gavin Lang in Victoria.

She had her first outing for Blake Fitzpatrick in New South Wales in January and has four victories in his stable.

Adelle was bred by Clare McGowan.
