Revelstoke and Kyvalley Picasso provided our stallion roster with a double at Maryborough on Monday, July 25.
Quaker Jet 3yo filly Revelstoke saluted in the Maryborough Trotters Oaks, while Love You 3yo gelding Kyvalley Picasso had his first win of the season on the same program.
This is Love You’s 11th individual 3yo winner in Australia – increasing his lead in the sires’ premiership in this age category.
Revelstoke was Quaker Jet’s second winner inside 24 hours.
G3 placegetter Quake Proof was back in winning form at Cranbourne on Sunday night.
Orlando Vici produced one of the most impressive winners of the week in Victoria when NZ-bred 4yo gelding Ollivici held out Love You G1 winner Parisian Artiste at Kilmore on Saturday night.
He has now gone back-to-back and boasts six wins in 13 starts.
His trainer Chris Lang, who campaigned trotters in Europe, has high hopes for his future.
"We're planning big things for this guy.
“He's going to keep developing, I think, for the next six months or more.
“I rate him very highly, this horse. I have for a long time,” Lang said.
“I think he's a chance of being right up there in our top echelon of trotters. There's very few that actually become the best, but I think he's there.”
Orlando Vici has an outstanding record in Australia, with 17 individual winners from 18 Australian-bred starters.
New Zealand-bred Adelle and Ollivici are also representing him strong on Australian soil, with Adelle a last-start G2 winner.
