BACK OF THE NECK

Ready Cash x Big Barb, 2017

BackOfTheNeck-MapleLeafTrot-NewImageMedia-1024.jpg

Known for his ability on all-size tracks, BACK OF THE NECK was one of the most exciting elite trotters in North America with numerous stakes performances including victories in the Reynolds Memorial at 2 and 3, also winning the Maple Leaf Trot at 3.

He was also placed in North America’s two biggest races, running third in the Hambletonian final at 3, and was second last year in the Yonkers International Trot after being parked almost the entire mile.

At the time of his retirement, last season BACK OF THE NECK became the fifth leading money-winning son of READY CASH joining an elite group of FACE TIME BOURBON, BOLD EAGLE, READY EXPRESS and BIRD PARKER.

These sons of Ready Cash have had outstanding success at stud in Europe. Back of The Neck will offer that same bloodline opportunity to Australasian breeders.
